Last week we read our new, non-fiction text ‘Once Upon a Raindrop’ which is all about water, where it comes from and where it goes… Hawks took the opportunity to refresh their knowledge on the water cycle through the medium of movement! In small groups they each became one of those features, which we were then able to put together to create our very own Hawks Water Cycle! This included evaporation, condensation, precipitation, surface run off, infiltration and transpiration! It's a shame I forgot my water spray can!
