Last week Year 2 were Historians. We walked to Fremington Quay to find out
about the history of Fremington Quay. We wanted to know what it was like in the
Victorian Times and how it had changed in the present day.  We found out it used
to be a train station. We walked on the old tracks, climbed the lookout tower and
explored the museum to find facts. We went into the lookout and there were train
levers for us to pull. Today Fremington Quay is very different. There is a park,
museum and café. We had lots of fun being Historians.

When we came back to school we made posters about the Quay and thought
about the impact Victorians had on our local area.
